Ebooks—likey or no likey?

Captain's Log, Stardate 09.15.2009

I’m over at the Girls, God, and the Good Life blog!

Camy here, with a few questions for you guys, especially if you are under the age of 18.

1) Do you like ebooks?

2) How often do you buy ebooks or borrow them from the library (if your library has that function)?

3) What do you read ebooks on, your computer? PDA? iPod Touch? Kindle or Sony eReader or something else?

  1. I read e-books on the computer - the special purpose readers just cost too much. I've bought a few e-books, but only short ones, and I've won a few too. I enjoy reading, so e-book or real book is fine, but I wish I had a more comfortable computer chair.

  2. No likey.

I don't accept e-books for review and I don't buy or borrow them. I like holding a book in my hand. I like the feel of paper. I can't curl up with a computer, even if it is hand-held. My husband would like to get me a Kindle or something similar, but I've really resisted.

Audio books are a different story. While I prefer reading, I don't mind listening to a book that is narrated.
