Captain's Log, Stardate 08.20.2008
A few weeks ago, my friend Danica stayed at my house for a night since she was flying out of San Jose to go back home. Captain Caffeine made lattes for us!
Grinding the espresso beans in his massive unitasker grinder.
I think this is called tamping the ground espresso into the little holder thingy. Yes, I’m very technical.

Pulling the shot.

Steaming the milk.

Pouring the milk into the espresso.

Look! He’s making a leaf with the microfoam!

Danica’s latte

My latte. Isn’t he sweet? He made a heart for me!

Wow! How lucky are you to have your own personal latte maker.
ReplyDeleteThe heart is cute too! I, on the other hand, just hook up an IV of Diet Pepsi and I'm ready to face the day.
Have a great one!
Just so you know, that was the best latte ever! I had one the other day at s'bucks and ew!! I really miss Captain Caffeine's brew. Well, okay, I just miss you guys. But it's all the same, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is why I love your blog--I have to check in and see what you and Captain Caffeine and Snickers are up to.
ReplyDeleteThe Captain looks so delighted on the pulling the shot photo. LOL.
Looks like you and Danica had fun, no doubt!
