I worked on my first Kickstarter and it got approved! It’s for the Special Edition Hardcover of Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 1: Archer and the release of Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 7: Spinster. I contacted my graphic designer about the Special Edition Hardcover of vol. 1: Archer—it’s going to be SO beautiful! The Kickstarter focuses on the Special Edition Hardcover, but it’ll also include vol. 7: Spinster so that it’ll sort of be like a launch day for vol. 7, too. A third special thing that’ll be in the Kickstarter is Special Edition Paperbacks of all the books in the series. They won’t be available in stores, just in the Kickstarter (and later, from my website, and also in my Patreon book box tiers if I decide to do them). The Kickstarter is not live yet, but you can follow it to be alerted when it has launched. (You may need to create a free Kickstarter account.) Follow Camy’s Kickstarter

I got this news from my CBA newsletter last week. It’s very neat for any of you who have teen girls or work with the church youth group.
Considering the rise of MP3 players and the popularity of podcasts, this is fabulous. This can appeal to girls on the go—which many of the girls in my youth group are—to give them something to listen to besides music.

Thomas Nelson is melding its successful Biblezine format with audio for Revolve Spin, an audio devotional targeted to teen girls. Nelson describes it as a “fast-paced mosaic radio-style presentation of biblical truths and
practical life applications with a creative urban flavor.” Contributors include worship artist Jamie Jamgochian, John Katina of The Katinas group, American Idol contestant Scott Savol, Grammy and Dove Award nominee Ayiesha Woods, and more. Revolve Spin combines popular music with Bible readings, devotional content, reflections, and daily-living tips. Written and produced by award-winning artist Antonio Neal, the 2-CD set (each with 15 MP3 files) covers topics such as choosing friends wisely, identifying true love, and how to worship.
“Considering the increase in the popularity and use of audio products in the world today, Revolve Spin is the next natural progression for the “Revolve” brand line,” said Nelson Bible group Sr. VP-Publisher Wayne Hastings. “Revolve Spin is like listening to a favorite radio station, podcast, or MP3 collection. …It inspires teen girls to go above and beyond reading the Word to truly living it.”
Revolve Spin and three new print Biblezines will release in July.
