My birthday on Wikipedia

Captain’s Log, Stardate 09.02.2006

Blog book giveaway:
My Monday book giveaway is the Coffee Cup Bible Study books by Sandra Glahn.
My Thursday book giveaway is PINK by Marilynn Griffith.
You can still enter both giveaways. Just post a comment on each of those blog posts. On Monday, I'll draw the winners for the Coffee Cup Bible Study books and post the title for another book I'm giving away.

ICRS, revisted: Mark Goodyear was kind enough to mention my blog when he blogged himself in response to a negative LA Times article about ICRS.

Birthday fun: I got this from Dream. You go to Wikipedia and type in your birth month and day (but not year) in the search box.

  1. Is it truly your birthday, Camy??? If so, then happy happy day! I would love to enter your book draws. I'm back from summer vacatation - hope you have time to pick up a goodie from my blog! Barb

  2. you have the same birthday as Luke Skywalker!! i only get Charlie Sheen :( which happens to be tomorrow. woo!

  3. Happy Birthday, Camy!

On an unrelated tangent, I used to teach at Sandra Day O'Connor High School. Since it was the only high school named after her, she came to our opening ceremonies. A few years later, I took some students to DC to meet her in her chambers at the Supreme Court! It was pretty cool.

Her advice: learn to speed read. (She read 1500 pages a day as a Supreme Court Justice.)

  4. The Fresh Prince and the Loud Asian Chick sharing a birthday!? How cool is that?? ; )

Have a happy one! Both of ya!

  5. Oops! I should have made it clear that today's not my birthday. I probably should have posted this on my birthday, which is September 25th--not too far from now.
