Sunday Prayer

Captain’s Log, Stardate 10.01.2006 Leave any prayer requests in the comments and I’ll be praying this week. You don’t have to be Christian to leave a prayer request. If you’d rather not advertise to everyone on the blogosphere, just leave an unspoken prayer request or e-mail me. If I forgot your prayer request, e-mail me. Not to be mean or anything, but if you don't e-mail me or comment to update your prayer request, I'm only going to pray 3 Sundays. Lord, thank you for this chance to pray again. It’s been too long since I was able to do this. Lord, I pray for favor for Case with the sentencing judge. Please be glorified in all this somehow. Give the family everything they need. I pray for healing for Colleen’s mom and a quick recovery. Thank you that she seems okay now. I lift up Jaen and her family to you. Please provide for them and keep them safe in your arms. Give Gail and Bob all they need right now. Be glorified in everything. Comfort them and help them. Help Heather as ...

On Monday, I'll draw the winner and post the title for another book I'm giving away. Not blogging today. Why? Cuz I’m plain lazy. And parents coming into town tomorrow, so I might be AWOL the rest of the week. TMI: Writing: Today I wrote another post about agents at my Story Sensei blog . I also posted a review (below) on Violet Dawn by Brandilyn Collins . Diet: I haven't exercised this week yet! I ate a salad for dinner...after I ate half a bag of potato chips. I need therapy.

VIOLET DAWN by Brandilyn Collins

Violet Dawn (Kanner Lake series, book 1) by Brandilyn Collins From the back cover: Something sinuous in the water brushed against Paige’s knee. She jerked her leg away. What was that? She rose to a sitting position, groped around with her left hand. Fine wisps wound themselves around her fingers. Hair? She yanked backward, but the tendrils clung. Something solid bumped her wrist. Paige gasped. With one frantic motion she shook her arm free, grabbed the side of the hot tub, and heaved herself out. Paige Williams slips into her hot tub in the blackness of night—and finds herself face to face with death. Alone, terrified, fleeing a dark past, Paige must make an unthinkable choice. In Violet Dawn , hurtling events and richly drawn characters collide in a breathless story of murder, the need to belong, and faith’s first glimmer. One woman’s secrets unleash an entire town’s pursuit, and the truth proves as elusive as the killer in their midst. Camy here: This is a strong suspense novel with...

Ever since his parents drowned while crossing the Atlantic after a revival, Daniel Cooper has felt as if the world is out to get him.
