a.k.a. Camy’s diabolical treasonous organization I mentioned earlier that the symbol of the Citadel in the series is actually my family crest. Bianca’s silver seal is also found in Lady Wynwood’s Spies, Volume 4: Betrayer. What I did was order a custom-made seal of the Citadel—or rather, my family crest. 😄 I thought the company who made the seal did a good job. Bianca’s seal is silver and mine is brass, but it was neat to hold it and feel the weight of it and press a few wax seals (I’ll post pics of those later). I felt almost like a member of a diabolical treasonous organization sending super-secret messages and trying to help Napoleon take over Europe. 😝 What do you think?

Here’s a couple Easter Eggs for you in the Lady Wynwood’s Spies series: There are two trainers in the Ramparts who are mentioned in the books, Mr. Alex Armstrong and Mr. Levi Ackerman. After the craziness of the Kickstarter, I hope to put Lady Wynwood’s Spies, Volume 7: Spinster  up on Amazon probably in the first week of March. I am currently working on a Christian contemporary romantic suspense, Year of the Dog , because it’s due for the multi-author anthology I’m in that releases in May, Danger in the Shadows.  I’ll probably post the chapters (including the annotated chapters) on my Patreon, but I won’t be able to give a free .epub copy to my paid subscribers since it’ll release in the anthology in May 2025. One of the perks of Tier 2 and higher in my Patreon is that they get a bonus short story twice a year. They voted to read about how Laura met the Senhora and so I worked on “Lady Wynwood and the Senhora’s Bargain” at the end of November and I’m just about finishing it up right now. When outlining this story, because it was so intertwined with how Laura meets Aya, I ended up writing a short story about how they met, which became the prologue. (And then the story of how Laura meets the Senhora exploded into a novella instead. I’m not sure exactly how. The real-life inspiration for the library from Lady Wynwood’s Spies, Volume 1: Archer In chapter 8 of Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 1: Archer , there is a very important architectural anomaly in Mr. Farrimond’s home: She came out along a wide, airy hallway that she recognized, since Miss Farrimond’s bedroom was only fifty yards to her right. To her left, the hallway continued for several yards before ending at a small window. Directly across from the stairway was a narrow passageway blocked by a pedestal and a truly ugly vase.
