This is the cover for book #4 in my series, Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 4: Betrayer. I loved how my graphic designer had the contrast of the fuchsia background and the green vest. You can see the original stock photo here.
This was one of my favorite photos to pick for a book cover because of the direction the series takes in this book.
I usually say which character the cover model is supposed to be in the series, but in this case, I don’t want to spoil the book.
You can probably figure out which character the photo stands for after you finish the book. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, which was why I released book #5 only a month later.
The background images are the key that plays such a significant role in both this book and the next one, and also the seal with the Citadel’s symbol.
Even though the symbol has been around since book 1, it didn’t show up on a book cover until this one. I posted about the symbol in a previous blog post.
You can also read about the cover characters for book 1, book 2, and book 3.
