I got a free Tea Advent Calendar from Adagio to review, and while I blogged about the entire calendar back in November, I thought it might be fun to blog about each tea as I try them in December. I’m actually kind of excited because it’s fun to be surprised by the different teas each day. First up is Pumpkin Spice tea, which is a flavored black tea.
It has black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, natural pumpkin spice flavor (whatever that is), cardamom, and marigold flowers. There was a delicious chai-like scent when I opened the bag.
I decided to get some milk and sugar handy when the tea finished steeping. I steeped it for 3 minutes in 8 ounces of 212ºF hot water.
It was delicious! Like a chai latte without the coffee. I did have to add a little more sugar than I normally add to black tea, but it was scrumptious to drink after lunch.
