"Everyday Yeah" by Idolish7

I mentioned before that I really enjoyed the Idolish7 anime series. I went a little crazy and bought the music from the series on iTunes. :P

One of the songs that I was surprised to discover is this one, although I don’t think it was actually played in the series, it was only released in the game. It’s so uplifting and cute! I hope you enjoy it.

Here is also a cover of the same song by Lambsoars, which is also great. Those four guys are just super cute!

Yeah

"Another day just like any other comes to an end"
I could hear the whole town sigh
As I held back my tears

It's not really necessary, but let's take a detour
Let's talk about our gloomy feelings
Then lift our heads

The dying light
Closely resembles our words
Even this small place in front of the station
Can be the end of the night sky to someone

Even the stars that go unnoticed by everyone
Twinkle as they dance as much as they like
Every night can't be a party
But they still look like they're sparkling

Woah yeah, woah yeah
Yeah
Woah yeah, woah yeah
Yeah
心から Yeah

Sing out!
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
That I am who I am, Yeah!
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
On this planet with you, Yeah!
From the bottom of my heart, Yeah!

Even if we were big stars
I'd still take you to the park in the middle of the night
I want you to tell me your story
The one that only you know

I wanted to be acknowledged more
I want to be honest and rely on you more
Take all the regrets locked in your heart
And release them up to the night sky!

Even your most boring days
Are still special to me
I want to take even your tiniest worries,
and carefully carry them for you

Yeah

We'll talk about the most trivial things, Yeah!
And suddenly your smile will show
I prayed that tomorrow will also bring good things

Woah yeah, woah yeah
Woah yeah, woah yeah
Woah yeah, woah yeah

These ordinary days
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
That keep coming and going
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
And this ordinary town
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
Isn't a party
But it still looks like it's sparkling to me

Even your most boring days
Are special to me
Even those distant specs of hazy light
Are actually big stars

Woah yeah, woah yeah
Yeah
Woah yeah, woah yeah
Yeah
心から Yeah
Yeah

Sing out!
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
That I am who I am, Yeah!
Woah oh Yeah! Woah oh Yeah!
on this planet with you, Yeah!
from the bottom of my heart, Yeah!

Lena’s Diamond Shawl – A Free Knitting Pattern from a Regency Spy Novel

In my book, Lady Wynwood’s Spies, Volume 7: Spinster , my heroine Lena is recovering from sickness and uses her favorite shawl to keep warm. 🧵 Click here to download the FREE PDF of the pattern. Here’s the short excerpt from the book that mentions the shawl: 📖 Excerpt from Lady Wynwood’s Spies, Volume 7: Spinster Lena still felt a chill as she sat in the sunlight streaming through the window of the Viponds’ drawing room. She was swathed in her favorite lace shawl, a gift from Melinda, who had knit it in Lena’s favorite color, red, along with cream and pink stripes. Tabitha finished pouring the tea and handed her a cup. Lena tried to smile as she took it, but her face felt stiff, like hardened clay. She was an utter failure. Despite all her training as an agent, she’d been undone by a malicious woman and a locked balcony in the rain. Had she given up too quickly? She’d been deterred by the railing, believing it would have broken under her weight. She had also been shivering t...

Writing Goals for 2007

Captain’s Log, Supplemental I considered cheating on my goals for this year, but decided I was being a wimp. Here are my personal writing goals: Long-term goals: --Complete two manuscripts and a novella by December 31st, 2007 (I have to write the two manuscripts, but I’m trying to push myself and write a third project. I chose a novella since it’s easier than a full novel.) Short-term goals: --Write a short story this year (I keep putting it off because I’m such a perfectionist about it! I think I’ve got to get just the right plot, etc. bef...

Tabi socks, part deux

Captain's Log, Stardate 07.25.2008 (If you're on Ravelry, friend me! I'm camytang.) I made tabi socks again! (At the bottom of the pattern is the calculation for the toe split if you're not using the same weight yarn that I did for this pattern (fingering). I also give an example from when I used worsted weight yarn with this pattern.) I used Opal yarn, Petticoat colorway. It’s a finer yarn than my last pair of tabi socks, so I altered the pattern a bit. Okay, so here’s my first foray into giving a knitting pattern. Camy’s top-down Tabi Socks I’m assuming you already know the basics of knitting socks. If you’re a beginner, here are some great tutorials: Socks 101 How to Knit Socks The Sock Knitter’s Companion A video of turning the heel Sock Knitting Tips Yarn: I have used both fingering weight and worsted weight yarn with this pattern. Grace Livingston Hill romances free to read online

I wanted to update my old post on Grace Livingston Hill romances because now there are tons more options for you to be able to read her books for free online! I’m a huge Grace Livingston Hill fan. Granted, not all her books resonate with me, but there are a few that I absolutely love, like The Enchanted Barn and Crimson Roses . And the best part is that she wrote over 100 books and I haven’t yet read them all! When I have time, I like to dive into a new GLH novel. I like the fact that most of them are romances, and I especially appreciate that they all have strong Christian themes. Occasionally the Christian content is a little heavy-handed for my taste, but it’s so interesting to see what the Christian faith was like in the early part of the 20th century. These books are often Cinderella-type stories or A Little Princess (Frances Hodgson Burnett) type stories, which I love. And the best part is that they’re all set in the early 1900s, so the time period is absolutely fasci...
