Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol

Finally saw this on DVD last night and it was rather good! I’m not a huge Tom Cruise fan but I absolutely loved Jeremy Renner!

But what was even more cool was that we went on Amazon streaming (our DVD player as internet connectivity) and were able to watch the pilot episode of the 1966 Mission: Impossible TV show! Everything was SO neat because it was from the sixties. I had never seen the original TV show before.

Any of you saw this show?

Btw, I Jeremy Renner is in the new Bourne movie (The Bourne Legacy) coming out in August. The trailer looks Very interesting. :)

jeremy renner, ha cha cha!!! i loved him in ghost protocol, but too bad he was possessed for half of the avengers movie...with those creepy eyes. *sigh* the bourne movies are my faves and i'm so glad he's in it...guess he's my new fave guy!

Lavender hand lotion

Etsy is dedicated to providing a marketplace for people who like to make handmade products and people who appreciate them (and buy them). I have to use lotion on my hands everytime after I wash them. So I went onto Etsy and searched for organic hand lotions, and bought this lavender lotion from Lue Cosmetics . Tabi socks, part deux

Captain's Log, Stardate 07.25.2008 (If you're on Ravelry, friend me! I'm camytang.) I made tabi socks again! (At the bottom of the pattern is the calculation for the toe split if you're not using the same weight yarn that I did for this pattern (fingering). Grace Livingston Hill romances free to read online

I wanted to update my old post on Grace Livingston Hill romances because now there are tons more options for you to be able to read her books for free online! I’m a huge Grace Livingston Hill fan. Granted, not all her books resonate with me, but there are a few that I absolutely love, like The Enchanted Barn and Crimson Roses . And the best part is that she wrote over 100 books and I haven’t yet read them all! When I have time, I like to dive into a new GLH novel. I like the fact that most of them are romances, and I especially appreciate that they all have strong Christian themes. Occasionally the Christian content is a little heavy-handed for my taste, but it’s so interesting to see what the Christian faith was like in the early part of the 20th century. These books are often Cinderella-type stories or A Little Princess (Frances Hodgson Burnett) type stories, which I love. (It’s like X-Men, but before they realized their powers and came together to become the X-Men. And without the funky costumes.)
