What’s all the hubbub about Amish fiction? Major media outlets like Time and ABC Nightline are covering it, and authors like Cindy Woodsmall are making the New York Times bestseller list regularly. What makes these books so interesting?

And don’t forget that Cindy’s new book The Hope of Refuge hits store shelves August 11, and is available for preorder now.
mmm I've never tried any of Cindy Woodsmall's books before (want to but haven't had the chance to yet) but I have read all of Beverly Lewis' books before and I like them very much. The culture is so unique and their faith so strong - it's a very interesting read. My interest began when I started corresponding with a Amish friend.
ReplyDeleteI just got some photos from my cousin of Amish farmland near Rochester, MN. For some reason, I didn't expect such big homes. I got a mindset from diff novels, and it took me by surprise. Now, when I read Cindy Woodsmall's books, I'll probably have a diff pic in mind. Interesting!
