Psalm 103:2-3 Dear Lord, Thank you, Lord, for all you’ve done for me. Don’t let me forget that you are always blessing me whether I notice it or not. Thank you for forgiving my sins, and thank you for healing me. I trust you and love you, Lord.

I made this shawl for Captain Caffeine’s work gift exchange. He works with mostly women, so I figured he’d get major kudos for this gift.
I used this really nice blue heather wool laceweight yarn that has purple highlights. The pattern is from Victorian Lace Today.
(If you’re on Ravelry, more info on the yarn, needles, etc. is here.)

Simply stunning! Now that you are more proficient at knitting, how long would you say a project like this takes?
And here's a cute thing--my 3rd son (20) just got a scarf knitted by a girl who likes him. She's just learning. ;)
Crystal, this didn't take as long as it looks like it ought to have taken because the middle pattern was really easy and repetitive, and the borders were pretty easy too. I don't know how many hours, though. How cute about your son!!!!
