Captain's Log, Stardate 10.26.2008
Leave any prayer requests in the comments and I’ll be praying this week. You don’t have to be Christian to leave a prayer request. If you’d rather not advertise to everyone on the blogosphere, just leave an unspoken prayer request or e-mail me. If I forgot your prayer request, email me. Not to be mean or anything, but if you don't email me or comment to update your prayer request, I'm only going to pray ONE Sunday.
I’m trying something new with my Sunday Prayer. I’m really bad about doing it on Sunday, so I’ll be updating it during the week.

Dear Lord, thank you for your grace.
I pray for complete healing for Malia, Cheryl, Leslie, and Sharon.
I also lift up any of my blog readers in need of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing and pray you will touch them.
Give Dineen your strength and peace, and cover her family with your spirit. Convict and bolter hearts.
I lift up Stanice and her proposals. I pray for favor and that you keep your hand over her and her writing career.
Be with Elizabeth's youth group and help them to learn what you want them to get out of Nehemiah. I also pray you will grow their church.
Please place your healing hands on Donita and help her recover from the flu quickly.
Be with Anna's family and her grandfather. I pray for your will, peace, and relief for them all.
I pray for a smooth, easy surgery for Christy's uncle and I pray for complete healing for him.
Be with Ronie as she homeschools her boys and give her everything she needs.
Please provide for Cathi, especially the medicines she needs.
Give Jan wisdom for upcoming decisions.
Help Hazel to be a good supervisor, give her wisdom in how to deal with the men under her. Also help her to get along well with her boss. Help her to be a good witness and give her your peace.
Thank you for the new contract. Please help me to finish the manuscript in plenty of time. I also pray for your will for Captain Caffeine’s job direction. Please provide for our family financially. Guide my life, open and close doors, and lead me into what you want me to do.
Amen.

I supervise men (mechanics) who never had a female boss. I also have a boss who is not as specific in his directions as I need him to be. I want to be a good supervisor, make my boss look good, be a good witness and keep my sanity.
