My Patreon will launch in 1 week! I took all the results of the poll and I have hopefully created fun and appealing tiers. About my Patreon: I'm trying something new for the next 6-7 months. If it works, I'll continue, but if I end up not liking it, I'll stop it in September or October. I will be starting a monthly subscription membership on a new Patreon account. I will be posting the chapters of my current book ( Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 7 ) so you can read ahead of when the ebook will be edited and published. My current plan is to post 1-2 chapters weekly. One reason I’m switching things up is that I want to get closer to my readers and build a tighter, more intimate community with you. You can comment on each chapter of my book, give a reaction, ask a question, or even correct mistakes. My books will become a dialogue with you. If you subscribe to my Patreon, you'll be charged monthly and have access to all the benefits for the tier you subscribe to. The

Some of the worship scenes in book 2 of my Sushi series were inspired by this song. Trish is torn between her desire for abandoned worship and the censure (real or perceived) of others around her, something I’ve struggled with myself. Trish is braver than I am, though. It was fun to write these scenes.
Fool For You
By Nichole Nordeman
There are times when faith and common sense do not align,
when hardcore evidence of you is hard to find.
I am silenced in the face of argumentative debate,
And it's a long hill, it's a lonely climb.
’Cause they want proof,
They want proof of all these mysteries I claim,
’Cause only fools would want to chant a dead man's name.
Maybe it's true. Yeah, but
I would be a fool for you
all because you asked me to.
A simpleton who's seeming naive,
I do believe You came and
made Yourself a fool for me.
I admit that in my darkest hours I've asked what if,
What if we created some kind of man-made faith like this,
Out of good intention or emotional invention,
and after life is through there will be no You.
’Cause they want proof of all these miracles I claim,
’Cause only fools believe that men can walk on waves.
Maybe it's true. Yeah, but
I would be a fool for you
all because you asked me to.
A simpleton who's seeming naive,
I do believe You came and
made Yourself a fool for me.
Unaware of popularity,
and unconcerned with dignity,
You made me free.
That's proof enough for me.
I would be a fool for You,
Only if You asked me to.
A simpleton who's only thinking of the cause of love.
I will speak Jesus name,
and if that makes me crazy,
they can call me crazed.
I'm happy to be seemingly naïve,
I do believe You came and
made Yourself a fool for me.

Comments
My only comment is that if we can't worship with abandonment here, whatever will we do in Heaven? So thank you for your thoughts and the words of that beautiful song, Camy.
