I got this from my friend Cheryl Wyatt. This made me laugh SO HARD I thought I was going to pass out.

A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.

Suddenly, her husband burst into the kitchen. "Careful," he said, "CAREFUL! Put in some more butter! Oh MAN! You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my GOSH! WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK! Careful ... CAREFUL! I said be CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY? Have you LOST your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the salt. USE THE SALT! THE SALT!"

The wife stared at him. "What in the world is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied, "I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving."

Bible in 90 Days: day 54. I admit, I’ve been slacking, but the CWO post yesterday made me realize I’ve been a lazy butt and so I’ve taken up again where I left off.

I’m in Ezekiel. I don’t know about you, but the prophetic passages make me quiver in awe and excitement. One day, I will actually see God reigning again in Jerusalem.

It reminds me of when I sing “Better Is One Day” for worship on Saturday nights at youth group or on Sunday mornings.

Better is one day in Your courts
Better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts
Than thousands elsewhere.

I am waiting for one day.

  1. Very funny poem. And I love that song. We sing it at church all the time.

  2. Lol, I love the "Frying Eggs". I'm going to have to show that to my husband!

  3. Delia, you're brave! I am sooo not showing that to my husband. That was very funny, Camy.
