Living under the new identity of Cassidy Livingston, she struggles to keep her investigative skills tucked away, especially after a body washes ashore. I apologize this post is late—the power went out last night before I could finish posting.
Blog book giveaway:
My Monday book giveaway is JADE by Marilynn Griffith.
My Thursday book giveaway is SQUAT by Taylor Field.
You can still enter both giveaways. Just post a comment on each of those blog posts. On Monday, I'll draw the winner for JADE and post the title for another book I'm giving away.
Prayer: My friend Danica came up with the most fabulous idea of starting a blog to pray for our enemies.
Yup, you read that right.
She was inspired by Philip Yancey’s new book. There’s a great quote that I want to copy here:
"God loves his enemies," concludes Bonhoeffer; "that is the glory of his love." We defeat our enemies by loving them, and prayer activates that love.
Here’s the blog post that explains her thoughts on this, and here’s the blog she set up to pray for our enemies.
TMI:
Writing: I am finishing my Marketing Info sheet tonight. It’s almost done. Cheryl called me last night to ask if she needed to mail me “something dead.” I might be able to expect a grasshopper in gruesome pieces in my mailbox in a few days.
Diet: I hate exercising. I really don’t feel the inclination for it when I get up in the morning. I didn’t exercise yesterday, so I really need to get on the ball today. After I blog. Or maybe after I eat. Or maybe after I check e-mail, in case something life-shattering happened.

Can you add a link on your page
for the enemyprayerblog?
Danica, that is a great idea.
I know, normally, it'd be too
easy to not pray for enemies.
Thanks, Ann
