Blog Book giveaway:
My Monday book giveaway (STEALING ADDA) is here.
My Thursday book giveaway (DIE BEFORE NIGHTFALL) is here.
You can still enter both of them. Just post a comment on those blog posts.
On Monday, I'll draw the winner for STEALING ADDA and post the title for another book I'm giving away. Stay tuned.
Green: You know what I hated? I always forgot to wear green to school and got smacked and pinched ’til I was black and blue. Makes for a traumatic childhood.
I still don’t remember to wear green. Except now people are more mature and don’t chase after me, intent on physical abuse.
Besides, I eat enough green stuff, why do I need to wear it?
Bible in 90 Days: Day 64. Matthew is a very quick read. It’s very factual, almost like a journalist. “This is Matthew the ex-tax collector, reporting live from Palestine.”
Writing: Got a lot of brainstorming and plotting done last night. I’ll hopefully start on the scene outline tonight.
Diet: I had a grueling PT session today, but so far I’m at 700 calories and I haven’t eaten dinner yet.

Haha - I love green! But it's hard to find green clothes. You probably haven't noticed that.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see someting green, I snap it up. But it has to be the right shade, not vomit green, or lime green. Kelley green is acceptable but a deep forest green would really make my day.
Okay, is that enough blathering to give you a brief diversion from your writing woes?
What is this message box thingy on the side of your blog? I don't know how these things work, they scare me...
By the way, did you see the offer at publishing contrarian? www.thepublishingcontrarian.com
Huh, I don't think I'm all here. I spent some time downtown trying to find a mailbox that gets emptied on Saturdays. Didn't find any. So I hope the mail I dropped off for the U.S. will get there by next Saturday. No guarantees, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI wear a lot of greens. I actually have three green coats all more olive colored. Also tops, skirts of all kinds. I love the earth colors including brown, orange, sienna, rust and an orangey red.
I wrote all this before but in a moment of absent-mindedness clicked on the x. Message gone.
I think that today is not one of my better days.
Perhaps that explains why I've naturally tended toward green clothing now, as a reaction from that childhood trauma. If only I hadn't yelled, "But I'm wearing green underwear!" That only resulted in a search for proof. I believe it was called an "Irish Wedgie."
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness...did I start this???
ReplyDelete"ducks and runs for cover"....
