Writing Progress - Sushi and Suspicions is done!

I finished writing Sushi and Suspicions and turned it in! To celebrate, I ate my favorite peach jelly from Minamoto Kichoan ! I was a bit surprised to realize at the end of the book that there wasn’t as much romance as in some of my other books, maybe because there were a lot of characters in this book compared to other romantic suspense novels I’ve written. Sushi and Suspicions will be releasing in June in the multi-author box set Summer Suspicions . Even though it’s a box set, each Christian Romantic Suspense novel in it is a full book, so it’s a great deal! Preorder Summer Suspicions for only 99 cents!

Entertaining myself - ch 12 of PROTECTION FOR HIRE

I was re-reading Protection for Hire the other day because I’m planning to start work on book #3 in the series soon. Then I read the Fat Burger scene, and just could NOT stop laughing. I couldn’t believe I wrote that! Captain Caffeine looked at me rather strangely when I was sitting there giggling to myself but I couldn’t even stop laughing to explain to him what I was laughing at. And then when I finally could explain it to him, it just sounded dumb. Go figure. Anyway, here’s the scene, which was from chapter twelve (I think … correct me if I’m wrong since I don’t have a copy near my desk to check). Tessa, my heroine, is at her mom’s house with her client, Elizabeth St. Amant, and Elizabeth’s three year old son, Daniel (who owns a pink-polka-dotted stuffed dog named Slasher, which is a story in itself). Tessa has never had a great relationship with her older sister, Alicia, and hasn’t been much involved with Alicia’s 13-year-old daughter, Paisley, since Tessa was in prison fo

Favorite Jane Austen quotes

I was over at the Love Inspired Authors blog on Thursday talking about how I picked out my favorite passages from Jane Austen's books to put on my website , including my favorite one from Persuasion on my About page. Here it is: “I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you.” Excerpt from Persuasion by Jane Austen Isn't that just swoon-worthy? When you visit my Camille website, be sure to check all the pages for all the different Jane Austen passages. How about you guys? Any favorite Jane Austen quotes?

Cover for GONE MISSING

My next romantic suspense, Gone Missing releases in May, but I just got my author copies in the mail! That means book club members will be getting it soon! In this book, part of it is set in Arizona (hence the cactus) and part in Sonoma, California. The hero, Clay, is in Phoenix searching for his missing sister, Fiona. He runs into Joslyn, who’s also looking for Fiona, her good friend. Their meeting is a bit “explosive.” Heehee. Readers met Joslyn in the previous book in my Sonoma series, Treacherous Intent . However, you do not need to read the books in the series to enjoy this one, each story is stand-alone. Here are links to pre-order Gone Missing : Order print books: Amazon Amazon (Large Print) Alibris.com (links coming soon) Barnes and Noble Barnes and Noble (Large Print) Buy ebooks: Kindle iBooks Kobo Nookbook You can get all the books in my Sonoma series on ebook—if you’re subscribed to Scribd, the first 3 books plus my two novellas are available—and some
