Fiber

According to Sparkpeople, I am WAY low on fiber intake, which was surprising to me because I thought that since I eat so many vegetables, my fiber intake would be better than it is. What do you do to get more fiber?

  2. I have that same issue. Plus I struggle to keep the protein anywhere close on a daily basis. If not for my daily protein drink I would hardly have any. I thought carrots and celery would up fiber. Nope.

    1. I know, right??? I ate tons of carrots and discovered they don't have as much fiber as I thought!

To help with protein and fiber, I eat Greek yogurt with Fiber One (or some other high fiber cereal like that...the original Fiber one...and lately had to get Bran Buds because they didn't have Fiber One). I think Fiber One is 57% of daily fiber...in with the yogurt (and I get Dannon Oikos) it doesn't taste bad at all!

    1. Thanks! I'll look into that. I'm not a huge fan of cereal, but putting it into yogurt doesn't sound so bad.
