A notorious gang puts a bounty on Detective Cady Matthews’s head after she takes down their leader, leaving her no choice but to hide until she can testify at trial. But her temporary home across the country on a remote North Carolina island isn’t as peaceful as she initially thinks. Living under the new identity of Cassidy Livingston, she struggles to keep her investigative skills tucked away, especially after a body washes ashore. When local police bungle the murder investigation, she can’t resist stepping in. But Cassidy is supposed to be keeping a low profile. One wrong move could lead to both her discovery and her demise. I already commented a little on Steph’s blog about this, but can I brag a little?
I just got to play with the new iPod Nano!
It was the black one, although I’d love to see the new purple color. It’s the same size as the original Nano, but with a cool elliptical shaped footprint.
The screen is the same size as the squatty Nano’s screen, but placed vertically instead of horizontally. I got to watch Monsters Inc. on the screen with the Nano turned sideways.
And the BEST PART! When you’re playing music and you shake the Nano, it shuffles to a different song! That just made my day. It also made me laugh like crazy. I spent a lot of time laughing, shaking, and shuffling.
I know, that sounds kind of lewd, but it’s not.
The only question I have is for runners—if you shake the Nano and it shuffles, what if your arms are pumping as you run? Or the jarring of your body as you run? I wonder if you can turn the shake-and-shuffle feature off for running.
Anyway, this new iPod Nano is SO CUTE!
I’m also interested to try the new iPod Touch. Supposedly it’s got a built-in speaker, which is pretty cool.

They do look totally cute. I'm still stuck in the little tiny pink Ipod Shuffle era..... Someday I'll upgrade. Too much technology to stay up on it.
LOL. Have a great day!
But I definietly run with my old one, so that would need to be addressed. I'm sure they have some way to turn that off. Apple is pretty smart with their designs, so I can't imagine they wouldn't have thought of that.
Now I just need to figure out how to break my old one so I can get a new one...
Anne:
Don't break it--be GENEROUS and give it to SOMEONE IN NEED and then, oh, shucks, you have to get a new one. :)
Jen: I love them, too!
