A notorious gang puts a bounty on Detective Cady Matthews’s head after she takes down their leader, leaving her no choice but to hide until she can testify at trial. But her temporary home across the country on a remote North Carolina island isn’t as peaceful as she initially thinks. Living under the new identity of Cassidy Livingston, she struggles to keep her investigative skills tucked away, especially after a body washes ashore. When local police bungle the murder investigation, she can’t resist stepping in. But Cassidy is supposed to be keeping a low profile. One wrong move could lead to both her discovery and her demise. Can she bring justice to the island . . . or will the hidden currents surrounding her pull her under for good? Hidden Currents is the first book in the six-book Lantern Beach Mystery series. Each book contains a standalone mystery, but there are overarching mysteries within the entire series. Get it now for

New novel for teens!
My friend Sarah Ann Sumpolec has a very new, very cool, very FREE young adult novel. I’ll let her tell you about it:
Camy here: I started reading it, and it’s really neat. It’s totally something teen girls would enjoy, so if you have one, point her to Sarah’s site!
New novel for teens!
My friend Sarah Ann Sumpolec has a very new, very cool, very FREE young adult novel. I’ll let her tell you about it:
I am putting out the novel on a reverse blog platform, which just means that the first page of the blog will always be the first page of the book.
It’s a complete novel, but it’s also written entirely in free-verse poetry. This is something that is very big in secular Young Adult fiction but CBA (Christian publishing) has yet to be convinced. It’s also a spin-off from my original series, Becoming Beka.
The novel will be released a few pages at a time, so every day there will be new content up there. It’s at www.totallyunfamous.com if you want to take a look at it. And of course, if you can help spread the word about the project, I’d be grateful as well. I’m betting at least some of you know some teen groups that might be interested in this new book.
